I only started getting interested in birdwatching when I first went to Point Pelee in May 2013. That was the first time I had enough patience, it was the first time I actually SAW birds with new eyes and it was the first time I was given “my own pair of binoculars.”

And now, I want to do this my whole life. Thus the “intrinsic pull towards nature.”
